Before You Order
A wedding dress is a meaningful and time-sensitive purchase. Before placing your order, we recommend checking the product description, size chart, dress details, fabric information, delivery timing, return eligibility, and your event date.
If you are unsure about your size, measurements, dress length, delivery timeline, or whether a dress can work for your wedding date, please contact us before ordering.
Our best advice: measure carefully, review every product detail, and ask questions before checkout. Careful preparation can help avoid delays, fit issues, and unnecessary return costs.

Ordering & Wedding Dresses
What is Wedcharm?
Wedcharm is an online bridal destination offering wedding dresses, bridal style guidance, and helpful information for brides choosing their gown.
Do you have a physical store?
Wedcharm is primarily an online bridal store. Product details, photos, sizing information, and order options are available on each product page. If you need help before ordering, please contact us online.
Are your wedding dresses ready-to-ship or made-to-order?
Some dresses may be ready to ship, while many bridal gowns may be made to order or prepared after order confirmation. Please review the product page carefully for availability, timing, and order details.
What does made-to-order mean?
Made-to-order means the dress is prepared after your order is placed. It may be made according to the selected size, product options, or measurement details depending on the dress.
Can I customize a wedding dress?
Some dresses may allow custom measurements or selected custom options. Availability depends on the specific dress. Please contact us before ordering if you need a special change, length adjustment, sleeve change, or other customization.
Can I order a dress for a close wedding date?
If your event date is close, please contact us before placing your order. We can help you understand whether the selected dress, processing time, and delivery option are suitable for your timeline.
Sizing & Custom Measurements
How do I choose the right size?
Please use the size chart on the product page or our Size Guide before ordering. Bridal sizing can be different from regular clothing sizes, so we recommend choosing based on your actual bust, waist, and hip measurements rather than your usual everyday size.
Should I choose a standard size or custom measurements?
A standard size may be suitable if your measurements are close to the size chart. Custom measurements may help improve the fit, but they must be taken carefully and accurately before submission.
How should I take my measurements?
Use a soft measuring tape and ask another person or a professional tailor to help. Measure your bust, waist, hips, hollow-to-floor length, height, and any other measurements requested for your dress.
What if I submit incorrect measurements?
For made-to-measure and custom-size dresses, the customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements. Wedcharm is not responsible for fit issues caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated measurements provided by the customer.
Will a custom-measurement dress fit perfectly?
Custom measurements can help improve the fit, but minor local alterations may still be needed for the best result. Wedding dresses are structured garments, and final adjustments are common.
Can I change my measurements after ordering?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Measurement changes can only be considered if production or preparation has not started. Once the dress is in production, changes may not be possible.
Fabrics, Colors & Dress Details
Will the dress look exactly like the photos?
We do our best to show dresses accurately, but slight differences may occur due to lighting, screen settings, photography, fabric batches, handmade details, lace placement, embroidery, or beading.
Can the color look different in person?
Yes. Color may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting, fabric texture, and production batch. Ivory, white, nude, champagne, blush, and similar bridal tones can appear different in photos and natural light.
How do I understand the fabric of a dress?
Please review the product description and fabric details. Common bridal fabrics such as satin, lace, tulle, chiffon, organza, mikado, crepe, and glitter fabrics can differ in structure, movement, softness, and shine.
Are lace, beading, or embroidery details always identical?
Minor differences may occur in handmade or detailed bridal gowns. Lace placement, embroidery, appliqués, beading, sequins, and floral details may vary slightly while keeping the overall design and style of the dress.
Where can I learn more about silhouettes, necklines, and fabrics?
You can explore our bridal style guides to compare silhouettes, necklines, fabrics, sleeves, trains, and other wedding dress details.
Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
Wedcharm ships to many international destinations. Available shipping options and costs will be shown at checkout where applicable.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery time depends on your country, shipping method, courier service, customs procedures, and seasonal workload. Delivery estimates begin after your order has been processed and dispatched.
Does delivery time include production time?
No. Delivery time usually refers to shipping after dispatch. Made-to-order and custom-measurement dresses may require additional preparation or production time before shipment.
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when available. Tracking updates may take some time to appear after the parcel has been collected by the courier.
Who pays customs duties and import taxes?
International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local charges. These charges are the customer’s responsibility unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout.
Can I change my shipping address?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your shipping address. We can update the address only if the order has not yet been dispatched.
What if my order is delayed?
Delivery delays may occur due to customs checks, weather, holidays, courier disruptions, high seasonal demand, or other circumstances outside our control. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before ordering.
Returns & Refunds
Can I return a wedding dress?
Return eligibility depends on the dress type, size selection, order details, condition of the item, and whether the dress was made, customized, altered, or reserved specially for your order. Return requests must be approved in advance.
Can I return a standard-size dress?
A standard-size dress may qualify for return if it is eligible, approved in advance, and returned in original, unworn, unaltered, undamaged condition. A deduction may apply.
Can I return a made-to-measure dress?
No. Made-to-measure dresses are final sale because they are prepared according to the measurements and details provided for a specific customer.
Can I return a customized or altered dress?
No. Dresses with requested customizations, design changes, custom measurements, length changes, or other alterations are final sale.
What deduction applies to returned dresses?
Eligible standard-size dresses purchased at regular price may be subject to a 20% deduction. Eligible standard-size dresses purchased with a discount, sale price, promotion, or special offer may be subject to a 50% deduction, where permitted by applicable law.
Who pays return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an approved issue caused by our side. We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your shipping receipt until the return is completed.
How long does a refund take?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the approval or refusal of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method. Banks and payment providers may require additional time.
Payments, Orders & Account
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods are shown at checkout. Depending on your location and checkout options, payment methods may include major cards and supported express checkout services.
Can I cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation may only be possible before the order has been processed, prepared, customized, or put into production. Made-to-order and custom orders may not be cancelable once preparation has started.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Please contact us immediately if you need to change size, measurements, shipping address, or order details. Changes are not guaranteed and may not be possible after preparation or production begins.
Why was my order canceled?
Orders may be canceled or refused if there is an issue with payment, product availability, shipping restrictions, incorrect information, suspected fraud, or other order-related concerns.
Do I need an account to order?
Account requirements may depend on checkout settings. You can follow the checkout process and provide the required billing, shipping, and contact information to complete your order.
Alterations, Care & Wedding Day Preparation
Will I need alterations?
Minor alterations are common with wedding dresses, even when the dress is ordered in a standard size or made according to custom measurements. A local bridal tailor can help adjust the final fit.
Do you provide local alterations?
Wedcharm does not provide local in-person alterations. We recommend working with an experienced bridal tailor in your area for final fitting and adjustments.
Should I steam the dress before the wedding?
Many wedding dresses may need gentle steaming after shipping. We recommend using a professional bridal steaming service or asking a tailor or bridal specialist for help, especially for delicate fabrics, lace, beading, or appliqués.
How should I store my dress before the wedding?
Keep your dress in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, moisture, smoke, pets, and strong odors. Avoid crushing the dress and follow any care instructions provided with your gown.
When should I order my wedding dress?
We recommend ordering as early as possible, especially for made-to-order, custom-measurement, or international delivery orders. You should allow extra time for production, shipping, customs, final fitting, steaming, and local alterations.
Bridal Styling & Choosing a Dress
How do I choose the best wedding dress for my body type?
Start with silhouette and proportions. A-line dresses are often versatile, mermaid gowns highlight curves, sheath and column dresses create a clean vertical line, and ball gowns add volume and drama. Choose the style that supports your comfort, confidence, and wedding setting.
What is the easiest silhouette to wear?
A-line wedding dresses are often considered one of the most versatile silhouettes because they balance the waist and gently flow away from the body. However, the best choice depends on your measurements, comfort, and personal style.
What dress works best for a beach or destination wedding?
Lightweight dresses in fabrics such as chiffon, tulle, crepe, or soft lace can work well for beach and destination weddings. Consider comfort, movement, heat, travel, and the formality of your ceremony.
Can I wear a dress with a train for an outdoor wedding?
Yes, but consider the venue surface, weather, and movement. Sweep or chapel trains may be easier outdoors than very long trains. You may also want to ask a tailor about bustle options.
Where can I compare wedding dress styles?
You can explore Wedcharm bridal style guides for silhouettes, necklines, fabrics, sleeves, trains, and other dress details. These guides are designed to help you choose with more confidence.
